How to Make Cold Brew Coffee
Cold Brew Coffee is a delicious and refreshing beverage made from steeping the ground overnight in the fridge and then filtering them out the morning after. In the end you’re left with a cold brewed coffee that is ready to drink or a cold brew concentrate that you can add ice, milk or anything else you can think of.
Cold Brew Recipe (Ready To Drink)
You Will Need:
35g Coffee Ground Coarse
500ml Water (cold)
2x Containers (600ml capacity +)
Aji Filter Cone 02
Hario V60 02 Dripper
Recipe:
First add your 35g of freshly ground coffee to your container, followed by 500g/ml of cold water.
Stir the mixture to make sure all of the grounds are evenly submerged and everything is extracting perfectly.
Leave the container in the fridge over night, you can experiment with leaving your cold brew to extract for 12h or even 24h.
The next morning place your Hario V60 Dripper on top of your second container and add your Aji Filter in place. Decant your cold brew coffee into the V60 and let the coffee filter through your V60 and Aji Filter.
You are now left with a freshly brewed cold brew coffee that has a ratio of 1:15 and is ready to drink, store your cold brew in the fridge for up to 2 weeks and enjoy!
Cold Brew Concentrate Recipe
You Will Need:
50g Coffee Ground Coarse
500ml Water (cold)
2x Container (600ml capacity +)
Aji Filter Cone 02
Hario V60 02 Dripper
Recipe:
First add your 50g of freshly ground coffee to your container, followed by 500g/ml of cold water. We are using a larger amount of coffee to make a stronger coffee, this will allow you to replace the remaining volume with ice, milk or whatever you like!
Stir the mixture to make sure all of the grounds are evenly submerged and everything is extracting perfectly.
Leave the container in the fridge over night, you can experiment with leaving your cold brew to extract for 12h or even 24h.
The next morning place your Hario V60 Dripper on top of your second container and add your Aji Filter in place. Decant your cold brew coffee into the V60 and let the coffee filter through your V60 and Aji Filter.
You are now left with a freshly brewed cold brew coffee concentrate that can be served with ice, milk or whatever you like. This cold brew coffee recipe has a ratio of 1:10. Store your cold brew in the fridge for up to 2 weeks and enjoy!
