Aji Filters are crafted from 100% natural, hand-loomed cotton sourced ethically from Bihar, India, our filters are a product of extensive research and a development. The Genesis of Aji Filters

Our journey began from a simple mission, creating a durable, reusable coffee filter that doesn't compromise on taste or the environment. After numerous prototypes, we discovered that certain hand-loomed cotton fabrics enhanced the flavours of a wide array of coffee types, catering to various roast styles, coffee varietals, processing and brew methods. Our decision to source our cotton through a Social Enterprise was not just about the quality, contributing to community and development through sustainable practices is so important to us and was necessary to make this project turn into a reality.

The Environmental and Economic Edge

Aji Filters are designed to be reused, significantly cutting down the waste associated with disposable paper filters and improving the lifespan of other cloth coffee filters through design and materials used. Each Aji Filter can replace up to 2,000 paper filters annually. This isn't just good for the planet, it's also great for your wallet in the long run.

One of the standout features of Aji Filters is the taste of the coffee they produce. Unlike paper, our cotton does not absorb essential oils and flavors from the coffee. Most recently we developed a universal flat bottom filter that we are calling the Aji Circle Filter, this filter is the first of it’s kind and to date is one of the most versatile coffee filters available.
