Our Aji Filters are crafted with care in an environment where they may come into contact with allergens. Additionally, we source our Hand-Loomed Cotton from India, where it is manufactured, and we do not have control over potential contaminants that may be present in the cotton. With this being said we advise you (as stated on the packaging) to boil your filter for 10 minutes before your first brew, this is both for shrinking the cotton down to the correct size and helps to lower the risk of any bacteria on the cotton.

Due to these factors, we strongly advise individuals with allergies to exercise caution when considering the use of Aji Filters. We do not recommend the use of our Aji Filters by anyone with known allergies to allergens commonly associated with coffee filters or cotton products.
